I’ve used it for a couple of year now but most of my groups and chats have moved to here from Kik as it’s so much better

Use Kik mostly, or whatsapp/signal when there’s enough trust to give out my number.

Though going to give Telegram a try with how shoddy Kik has gone

When you install the app it asks if you want it to have your phone contacts. I'm sure there's a way to undo it if you accidentally gave permission.

I thought I had done that and then I got a message from a contact saying they didn’t realise I used it. So put me off
