What spice, herb or seasoning could you happily add to anything, and which ones don't you have any thyme for?

Fresh coriander for me, the taste and the fragrance, add it to so many dishes.

The Town by The Cross

My body just loves fresh parsley. I get a feeling of being fed pure nutrition when I eat it.......

I put it into tabbouleh often along with fresh mint that sends me apoplectic when the aroma reaches me from the garden.

Nothing beats basil ...... raw or baked onto a delcious marinara pizza......

Ras al hanout brings everything alive to me ...... even sprinkled on an open sandwhich ....

"Rosemary and olive oil on potatoes "

I love just laying a few sprigs of Rosemary over things roasting in the oven, fantastic aromas.

Do you have a preference for curly or flat leaf parsley ? I'm definitely for the latter.

I love ras el hanout. I've half a dozen different blends, my favourite having tiny rose petals in it. I use it a lot!

Fresh coriander leaves are magical. That fresh green taste of life can cut through even the fiercest curry.

Some people think it tastes of soap. They are the aliens walking among us. Wait till they unzip their flesh masks to reveal their lizard heads.

Big from me. If anyone can recommend a smoked paprika sauce we might have to get married.

I'm veggie and always think of jerk seasoning as a meat thing- do you add it to any vegetable dishes?

It’s basically just a spice mix! I used to be vegan and loved marinating aubergine steaks in it

Don’t normally have any time for cloves and nutmeg. Had a bad experience with nutmeg as a teenager and cloves just remind me of mulled wine, but I do use the odd one in things like lamb dhansak if using Cardomon seeds and cinnamon it works well with them to add warmth without heat

It's a genetic mutation. A certain variant which makes the odour receptor for aldehydes very sensitive.
