I had no presents this year for the first time in my life. My ex wife refused to take my children to buy me something. So yes absolutely nothing to open Christmas day just gone.

That's awful. Just remember that the kids love you despite the terrible thing your ex did

Oh that is shitty behaviour. I always get my kids to get my ex something for special occasions even though I absolutely hate him. I can't deny that I smirk a bit if they choose something I know he won't like, like the teenage mutant ninja turtles pants. But it's about putting your kids first and showing them they are in a loving environment.

I keep my mum, dad and brother's presents in my room in their own individual sacks and then bring them down early Christmas Morning.

I'm pretty much the Secret Santa in my house.

It was a very low point for me that day, won't deny that when I put them to bed Christmas night I did cry. Mainly because they told me they had money but she just refused to take them. Won't happen again, will take them myself a few weeks before hand this year

Oh bless them and she stopped them? Then the kids will remember her unkindness. Yeah exactly or do an activity together as a present to all of you. Memories outlast a pair of socks lol

We always make good memories.

Christmas day is always at mine as I always have and always will cook the Christmas Dinner.

Then I have them right through until new years day so we get plenty done then too.

But you were lucky enough to be with them on Christmas Day. Surely that is far more important than receiving a pair of socks or some shower gel.

Indeed and always will be, just seeing them upset because they weren't taken to purchase something wasn't very nice. More so than not having anything off them.

Always in a pillow case. It used to vary between bedroom and living room. Sometimes santa was busy so didn't have time to take upstairs. I love Christmas, nd now so do my children.

Me and my sister had either end of the sofa, and my parents had a chair each. We all sat in the middle of the living room to open them
