I found lots of fantastic new music recently. I have no idea who is known or who isn't. I found Tom Walker like this.. before he was radio famous. I only realised he was becoming famous when I struggled to get a ticket to his event after getting the one to first concert was cheap as hell and not sold out!

- 12 foot ninja - amazing australian band.

"The saw doctors I seen them in Galway many years ago. What a bounce. great band their songs are great when you're on a session I walked straight up and made an ostentatious contribution!!! Lol great line "
I have been to limerick a couple of times but normally on the way to Killarney via the kilimer ferry. The Galway crowd used to call it stab city which wasn’t the best travel advice

"New model army"

There was a Justin Sullivan album called "Navigating by the stars" some beautiful tracks on that. Saw him live just after he released it.

Has anyone heard of a band called "Rare Bird" ?

This performance is 50 years old now, i think they were ahead of their time..has a mars volta quality about it-

"Public Service Broadcasting. Not my favourite but a band I like that most people have not heard of. Their live show is something different."

"Go!"(send that message to Adobe!)

I've heard of them.

There's a company called Serif Labs in Nottingham , (who are known for making their alternatives to Adobe's big three programs/cash cows). Mac App Store winners.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NW5g9GmUBS0

They used this NASA based soundtrack as bed music for one of their official launch of Affinity Photo. NASA sound tracks are always cool in my book (We got to get down..."Tranquility Base. Beep. The Eagle has landed!" Cue laser harp)

I've got all three apps, books and have been a user of their stuff from the pre- launch days by the way.

Dead Can Dance. An Aussie based band that produced an amazing album in 1990.

It's called AION and it's pretty much medieval and brings the music of that era to life, with just the right balance of olde worlde and moderne production values.

Perfect soundtrack fodder. Some of you Orbital fans might recognise the name Lisa Gerrard...

My favourite tracks are "Black Sun" & "Fortune present gifts, not according to the book".

"Ozric tentacles "

Heard of them, but not heard anything by them.

I do like ambient music, so that 's why I know that name.

Loved them too!

The Boxer Rebellion, pretty huge in Europe... Absolute gods live. Brilliant albums too. Wish them so much love and success.. "

Piers if he’s still in the band is a fellow Southend Utd fan and a good lad.

Have seen TCTC a couple of times.

Love Zero7.

There was a band called Four Day Hombre, now known as Hope & Social. Seen them a few times in the past, bit not recently sadly.

"Ghostpoet

Zero 7

Cocteau Twins

The Cramps

Killing Joke

And a few more"

The Cocteau Twins first album "Garlands" is still a regular spinner nearly forty years on in my house.

For me The Bond "Music For Songs And Stories".

Localish to me, one album in the late 90's and it's epic...
