I saw someone make a wasp out of a brass nut and bolt and I thought I would have a go at making a butterfly.

It’s taking ages, but I have impressed myself with how it’s going. What was the last thing you tried on a whim?

I made presents for teachers of my kids on behalf of whole class. One was a good memory jar where kids wrote the notes themselves. I threw in some love hearts and other summery things, decorated the top with a fabric and piece of twine. And the other one was a deep photo frame with a rainbow of colouring pencils which kids used throughout the pandemic year... and their names under. It was based on a drawing idea.. I found on my beloved Pinterest. I put a spin on by adding actuals pencils. It turned out pretty good.
