Had a cavalier overheat going up Stow Hill in Newport, middle of summer and I had to put the heaters right up on full blast. My balls still remember that day and hate me and that car.

I was behind a Punto once when I saw flames coming out the bottom of it. Gave them the full headlight works and hand waving and they pulled over and I pulled over behind them to call 999.

The woman in the car got her dad out before it really started going up then she said "he's got emphysema, do you think we've got time to get his oxygen cylinder out the boot?"

Cue really fast backing-up the hard shoulder. Fire engines arrived in five minutes and it was already a shell. Luckily his O2 didn't explode though.
