Can’t sleep without

What can’t you sleep without? Can be anything really

I can’t sleep without a cover/sheet/blanket and also can’t sleep without a white noise going on (usually a fan) as total silence is worse…

Also I struggle if I leave doors open, like a wardrobe door? Fuck that it needs to be sealed shut lol

I need the radio on it’s lowest volume setting so you can barely hear it.

The window has to be open to the “air” opening crack, so you can get an occasional breeze but the insect population can’t squeeze through and have a party on my face.

I need two pillows.

Bedroom door slightly ajar.

Duvet.

And Zzzzzz I’m good to go

Absence of light. Can't stand light spilling in the room, so all the windows have heavy blackout blinds.

Noise used to be a problem when younger, but I find I'm more used to it now.

I went potholing once, and I was in a pitch black cave, with almost no noise and zero light. It was perfect. I could have slept for days. Never felt so relaxed.

I can't sleep with any light. I need silence. And two very soft fluffy pillows. I have white noise that comes off the baby monitor and it drives me crazy! And a snoring partner. I have to wedge earplugs deep into my brain to get some sleep.
