So, you're getting 'close' to someone

Things are going well, but you're still unsure whether to take it to the next level

Then they do something or say something and it just takes them straight off the 'future meet' radar

You just can't past it once you see it or hear it

Does anyone else get this?

Any examples of where this has happened with you?

I told one lady she looked like she could eat an apple through a tennis racket. She then proceeded to bloke me. Rude.

I thought the vibes where strong too

If it's in the same vein, have had messages and even comments on my posts and never sure if it's a "come on" or they're just being friendly, I really don't get flirting no matter what a certain lady on here said to me after we'd met.

Yep.

Normally when they tell me about things they've done in the past. Whether sexual or on a humane level. People make mistakes, people learn and grow but when I perceive something as cruel and they don't, it shows me where on completely different wavelengths and I think "phew"

I’ve had a few male friends where things were going really great and obviously going to be a dating thing then they’ve said something that I felt uncomfortable with and I did a 100% U turn

e.g. a man who picked up that I’d been abused by an ex boyfriend

If I feel a man is disingenuous or starting with mind games I do a complete block and remove them from my life without an explanation

There’s no room for other people games or drama in my life

Usually it is their actions which put me off rather than what they say, I like to watch body language and people's faces when they speak, whether they are speaking to me or others. People's eyes can betray then so I always look into someone's eyes for sincerity..

How they treat and speak to others is also a big thing...

Socials reveal a lot.

They're normally the type of people that find humour in bumper stickers

Ahhh, the ick moment. I think it’s fairly common, and can happen for a multitude of reasons.

When they start sex talk to early on, that’s a big one for me.
