I usually finish coffee but some of the stuff they serve in cafes is so awful I can't. I only drink red bush tea and usually either finish it all or forget about it and don't even start it

With tea I only like it when it's still scalding hot, so the last few lukewarm mouthfuls are grim and I leave them when at home (not at someone else's as that feels ill-mannered to me for some reason).

Coffee I will drink hot, lukewarm or cold, so I always finish a cup of coffee.

Yes, there's definitely a temperature threshold and, if it falls below that, I'm not finishing.

I drain every last drop, but I prefer tea rather than coffee. I don't like having an empty cup and have been known to put the kettle back on jut as I am finishing one brew xx

Aberdeen, Leeds, Sheffield

Depends how thirsty I am, and whether I really wanted a drink, or just something to do while I'm talking or working (like smokers with cigarettes). I'm not a fan of cold tea, so if I get down it fairly quickly then I'll likely drink it all. If I'm just sipping then it'll probably only get half d*unk.

Tea will soften finish unless it's cold (made a stonking delicious one this morning) but since I use a mokka pot or Aeropress for coffee most times there are grains at the bottom so chuck the dreggs away, often in nearest plant pot for some reason.

The trick is to enjoy as much as possible before 'peak tea' expires, otherwise it's wasted.

Coffee I just glug rum in it. When it's cold..

Depends. If coffee is from a percolator or tea is made using leaves then I would leave a inch in the cup to avoid the grainy texture. Otherwise I guzzle the lot
