Hello

I still had no meets I'm messgering few people a day I would like to make friends and hopefully to have fun what am I doing worng or is there something in my profile that shouldn't be there

What were your expecations of the site when you first signed up?

You've only been here 5 months.

When I first started using fab around 8 years ago, a single guy would wait around 6 months, on average, to get that first meet.

Since then, I imagine that's increased to between 9 months to a year.

And that was when we weren't in the grips of a global pandemic.

Finding that someone, or even better, those few people who you really click with, who you find attractive and they find you equally attractive takes time.

Yeah exactly, it’s not like our time is fleeting, I only had to wait over two decades for my first meet.

Derek don't forget there are massive amounts of people still not meeting, and I hate to say it but your eyesight will impact too.

I used to meet a guy quite regularly who was registered blind, however he met every need of mine at the time plus we would hang out and he was a great drummer. That added to my attraction to him. I'd go to his studio and we were into the same music.

I didn't even know he was registered blind though until it came to him using his phone. He didn't feel the need to advertise it, as actually it never hindered him in any way

Im going to take a guess that expectations of a site that professes 10s of thousands online at anyone time... Shouldn't be that hard or take that long to get together with someone. Shouldn't be that hard really should it? Life's too short to have to invest over 12 months simply to meet up with someone on a social encounter site surely?

Derrick life can be hard enough with your disability so keep that happy go lucky personally shinning through both in your messages and profile and you will hopefully get some meets again.

You’ve been on here long enough on and off to know what it’s like so chin up and best of luck.

Have you joined lots of sites ? That might help.

Anyway....... don't give up.

And as things open up i.e. the world..... join a couple of local clubs eg. walking clubs or meet ups...

Best advice I can give is don't have any expectations, if something happens,it's a bonus

Don't invest all of your expectations for sex just from fab - it should complement the real world.

I think it's going to take a year or so to return to a life less affected by the virus. But it remains very hard for single men here, even at the best of times

I have been on fab for 10 years, at first I got quite a few meets and they became regular, i think around 2014 where I had my most meets dare i say I was meeting 1 every night, and yes regular meets at that inwas lucky they were all local.... since then i have been on and off here but i have still been lucky to have meets no way near what I had but 1 or 2 which has been regular till covid hit .... just be yourself dont expect too much females get bombarded on here and a lot just like the attention
