Mens 10000 and the women's 800, 1500 and 5000 races should be exciting. Not forgetting the head to head for the men's 400 hurdles and the final road event, Kipchoge in the marathon.

Awesome week of sport ahead!

After watching the women’s 100n heats.. either the ladies are all in super form, or this may be one of the quickest tracks I have ever seen… the sprinters will love it and the long distance guys will hate it…

Long distance on a super springy track in that heat and humidity is almost the worst nightmare for anyone going from basically 1500m and beyond

Hassan is going for a treble, 1500, 5000 and 10000. She looks strong.

Yea the women's 100m is blazing hot, although i just heard about Suspension of Blessing Okagbare for taking a growth hormone. The 400m hurdles semi final will be a head to head

Congratulations Elaine Thompson Herah. A Jamaica 123 I didn’t know that Elaine & Shelly-Ann don’t get on. I would love to see CJ Ujah get to the men’s 100 metres final.

Amazing run great times.

Those Jamaicans certainly know how to produce sprinter's.

Shame about Asher Smith who I must admit to having a bit of a crush on .

Felt for her. But she will recover and come back strong.

Today’s thoughts…. Whoever had the Italian winning the 100 before this meeting started can pick my lottery numbers next weekend…

Zarnell has to know better than to false start…

Glad they got to share the high jump gold.. they looked delighted and shattered!

The girl who took the triple jump WR on her last jump.. her face was a peach!

The women’s 100 m hurdles WR is so going to go in that final… I wouldn’t be surprised to see a 12.12-12.15

Bad false start tho and blaming cramp, sour grapes in my opinion.

I am looking forward to the men’s 200 metres. I think Noah Lyles may just edge out Andre de Grasse. In the women’s heptathlon such a shame for KJT if Nafis-satou Thiam elbow holds out I think she will win it and maybe break the 7000 points mark

. Perhaps in 3 years time the USA men’s 4 x 100 metres relay team can do a bit of practice with regards to who is running what leg and handovers. When two greats like Carl Lewis & Michael Johnson criticise you then it’s time to listen

His false start in the 100m final now looks more curious though ...

Would be a real shame if the ban is firmed up and medals removed, as the team did brilliantly, beating teams that had faster individuals.

A shame yes for the others , however those are the rules.

If the B is positive , a selfish action will have destroyed his team mates dreams.

. Yes it would be a shame if the others lost their medals but unfortunately those are the rules even the great Usain Bolt has lost a Olympic gold medal when one of his relay teammates failed a drug test off the top of my head it may have been Michael Frater. Also the false start in the 100 metres was Zharnel Hughes not CJ Ujah as unfortunately CJ failed to qualify for the final.

. Yes it’s slim that the B sample will come back clear.I am going to have to guess that if the B samples is clear then CJ Ujah and the relay team will keep their Olympic silver medals
