Sad when someone dies but we all do, don't we?

As for ZZ Top, I'd say there were and would have stayed a popular, at best, in the southern states but for their sexy videos.

Saw them at Download, they were awesome!! It was kind of surreal seeing them as I’d grown up listening to them.

RIP Dusty x

Been playing ZZ Top tunes all evening unaware he passed, thunder and lightning going on at the same time.

He's rockin in heaven if he isn't hellraising.

Love the band.

An amazing band; unique and talented. I got into them through Eliminator (like most) and own all their albums. Sadly never saw them live

RIP Dusty

ZZ Top were a great band that bridged the Gap between blues and rock. To think that only three people made that sound is a feat within itself. They were a staple of the 80s rock/pop scene. Dusty will be missed.

by the big field

bit gutted! i wrote up a list last year of gigs to go to and ZZ Top were one of the first to go on it

Hopefully, Jimmy Cliff, Stevie Wonder and Brian Wilson can stay safe & active for a good few years yet
