At the moment I'm not having much luck..... With my car.

Earlier this month my neighbour reversed into me, causing a fair bit of damage.

This week I got a puncture, and resultant trip to garage ended up with £600 bill as brakes needed sorting.

Today someone reversed into my hire car whilst my car is being repaired.

They say it come in 3's so I reckon I'm done now.

Anyone else got bad luck going down?

We've been in weymouth for couple days R&R and when left the B&B this morning found we'd driven over a nail (it had looked low the night before) so had to endure the services of kwik-fit before heading home today

Yup. We had day tickets for Creamfields on Sunday - cancelled at the last minute due to bad weather.

We got to hospital this morning for hubby's op at 7.30am, got bumped to the afternoon and was told at 3.30pm they're cancelling it - to go home! 8hrs waiting and 20 hrs nil by mouth. Livid doesn't quite cover it for us this week.

Not a nice experience, hope HT enjoys a great big dinner and had his OP rescheduled soon

Did Colin not get an invite to the beach party? He'd have had some serious action i think

Yes, me. I'd rather not elaborate though. Too long, complicated and very personal.

To finish the week, someone drove into our parked car last night and drove off without leaving any details (tosser), and we're Sat at the hospital again (4 hours so far) and told there are no beds, we may be sent home again! Third appointment this is - the first one we were given, the surgeon was on holiday!!!

For a change, the major service I had on my car did not cost me an arm and a leg.

However, I did spend over a small fortune prior to the trip up to Scotland on two new tyres and a quick check by the garage.

Still a small fry compared with the engine refurb I had a couple of years ago.

What I had spent on her would probably buy me a new car with a lesser specification.

However, she has huge sentimental value. I had her since new, with a custom paint job that was unique at the time, over 10 years ago.

She is one of the few constants in my life since I picked her up in Feb 2002.

Long live my car!

I considered myself lucky for calling off a meet that was scheduled for this weekend, as something made me wary about going ahead with it.

Once I have doubt, I had to do something about it, resulted in the meet being cancelled.

No regret as I believe I had made the right decision.

Erm, if that's 'redundancy' they can't do that. They have to have a consultation period by law. Unless they're paying notice and putting him on garden leave.
