So I joined solely to meet guys, I'd just broken up with someone (nearly 2 years ago now) and I wanted to have some fun.

However, by joining fab just before a pandemic I realised (through boredom) that I love taking and sharing photos, and I discovered the forums and the amazing people here. So now, the reasons I stay are the forums, as an outlet for my exhibitionist urges and to find a fwb when I don't have one (I currently do). I hope one day to realise my mfm fantasy too!

Why did you join? And is it still the reason you're here today?

Well like many I thought I'd get an uncomplicated shag. Then got recommended the forums. And have realised forums on a sex site for the uncommitted is maybe not the best idea. I feel I've connected with a few people in a non sexy way but am continuously dismayed by most of the frivolity. I'm not a frivolous person. Weighing up the benefits vs damage at present. Also I get bored with frivolous pretty quickly.

I joined after splitting up with my girlfriend.

I’d always had an interest in swinging from my early youth, watching documentaries on it. Louis Theroux and various others like the sexcetera series… left my curious imagination to wonder.

Had no idea that there was an online world of it. So I went to my local club and was told about FAB there…

I rejoined this year with more maturity and clear what I wanted. I'm choosy who I will meet and the forums keep me entertained as I search for that elusive person. Having spent the last three decades in two monogamous relationships I joined Fab to return to the swinging community just as we were beginning to unlock.

Since then I have met and played with some lovely people and it really does feel like I've come home.

So I suppose the reason I'm still here is the same reason I joined. Going forward I'd like to meet more people and visit some clubs.

I'm also exploring the idea of organising a social in the Colchester area as we don't seem to have one at present.

I joined out of sheer curiosity after someone I met told me about it, I like yourself enjoy posting and sharing pics and I have found the forums a great way to make news friendships and have some lighthearted fun - it’s an escape from the routine of day to day life

I have met some wonderful people who have broadened my horizons and have given me a greater understanding of the kinks I was interested in before joining here

So yes I guess I am still here for similar reasons as I’ll always have a curiosity about something and hope to make connections with people who share similar xx

Basically the same, I'd split from my ltr and after being single for a good while I fancied some fun and my friend recommended here. I had some fun, then met someone on a dating site, ended up with feelings and deleted my profile. I joined thinking I could meet women regularly for NSA meets (hey, I was naive alright!)

I stay because I understood there was more to it and made it a challenge to myself that if this is worth doing, it's worth doing right. That's why I made a proper effort with my profile and joined in on the forums to understand other perspectives. I was widowed, had not had sex in a looooooong time!

Originally joined in 2018.

I’ve met some amazing people, had lots of fun, been seriously fucked around as well, but the good seems to outweigh the bad.

I joined for many reasons but to try and keep it shortish because I wanted to make up for spending most of my youth by myself. For various reasons when younger I struggled with social situations and never dated. Hoped when I finally meet some one we could explore together but it never happens. Over time social situations have gotten a little easier and even eventually managed to start to dating. Sadly there no happy ending there so started thinking about what I want out all area of my life. For here I wanted to have a little fun, make friends and make up for missing out on exploring what I like and would like to try even if not in a relationship, love a full and happy life.

Reason I stayed so far is I’ve had some truly lovely conversations and messages with some really wonderful people that makes any of the bad stuff seem worth while. Thank you all for being so amazing

I joined to really just enjoy some new experiences and to get a bit of excitement back in my life as I seem to always find time for everyone else but myself, being completely honest if not for the forums I’d of left the site after a disastrous first social with a couple. I’m not sure if I’ll find the excitement I was hoping for but I love the banter on some threads, also getting to know bits about people away from the sex side of the site, I’m talking about the real side to people it’s refreshing.

I joined fab a few months ago following a long recovery from a neurological problem that affected my balance/mobility/immune system after beating a rare form of cancer at 20. This condition kept from being able to get out much and I just needed to build confidence with women. To be fair I’ve not met anyone, but my confidence has improved. I could leave fab, but it would be nice to meet someone on here. So for the time being I’ll stay. If this site stops being fun, then I’d go.

I have been on and off here a few times . The first time was when I was younger wanting to try a swing club and liked the idea of meeting couples for the Hotwife scenario. This is my 4th profile in 4½ years. I found the site by accident and joined and left a couple of times because it wasn't really for me and I wasn't sure why I was here.

My 3rd profile lasted longer and I made some good friends and I realised that it's a good place to chat to people with similar experiences.

This profile is just over 2 years old and during that time I've been active in the forums and rarely use any other part of the site.

It doesn't hold my interest like before as I've too much going on in real life but my initial reasons for joining have nothing to do with why I'm still here.

I joined back when Fab was powered by steam.

Like many single men, I joined for the poon tang.

Met some amazing people, had some fantastic sex, made some great friends.

As the birthdays passed I started to fall outside of more people's age filters.

These days it's the forums that keep me here, although "I've" had a long break.

I rejoined Fab four years ago after being my dumped by text by my ex at Christmas in 2016.

The reason wasn't to get pity sex or anything like that. I was feeling really down and just needed someone to talk to at the time.

I was going through a bad patch in my marriage. Talking about it with a friend and he told me about this site. I had a look and thought it probably wasn't the right place for me to be sorting out my marriage problems. However, my interest had been aroused so I kept coming back to it. I found Fab initially about a decade ago and signed up due to being in a hypersexual manic state (also had a Fabguys account).

Deleted those accounts and kept wandering back over the years (but not really using it). Last year I found the forums and have stuck around for them.
