"If you are going through a bad time I caution you not to read. I had a close friend who was gay. He never had to tell me I knew he was, didn't matter to me he was a great guy. Loved galleries, fancy restaurants art on the walls type how always had a tan and did look good. I would be the one he would call to cry down the phone too when the boyfriend had upset him or the washing machine didn't work. Women loved him and would always give him a cuddle when we were out together they loved his high pitched voice when he got excited over a little dog or some fancy tight jeans. Recently he called me in a right state, his partner had abused him and beat him on a few occasions which I didn't know about till he broke down on the phone. So immediately I made a few calls and I put a deposit on a flat then got a team of guys to go round and get his stuff. Took him to a private doctor to have him checked over and tests done. He seemed to be brighter and me being me started to get him to unpack everything and start putting his new flat together. I left late after we had dinner and it was all looking good. Then. Now this is where you need to exercise caution. I was training at Sandhurst and told there were police wanting to speak to me. And it's funny you can tell on people's faces what they are going to say before they have said it. Yesterday I got a letter. It sort of explained why, the road he decided to take. How he couldn't face things anymore. It said that I was the only one who stood by ready to help regardless and that he loved me for just accepting him for who he was. So people. Whatever is going on in your world, someone does love you, will help you. Reach out don't worry about being a pest or not because someone is busy. I will not reply to this thread." Really sorry for your loss, you were an amazing friend to him | |||
