So I’ve booked in for a big piece for my thigh. But I’ve seen two bears with the constellations of the great bear and the little bear inside them. There’s a pic uploading on my private gallery of them.

I want them on my hands as space is getting scarce and I want them together as such but nit on the same area. People seem to turn there nose up at tattoos on hands. But I want them.

I got my hand tattooed over 20 years ago by a friend in the good old days when it was illegal. Seems crazy now that that was ever the case. I like the "lots of ink" look and it doesn't seem to have the negative connotations that it once did. Go for it!

You should have whatever you want, wherever you want it. I like to learn the meaning behind people's ink, why they decided to have what they did, what it signifies to them etc (if they don't mind sharing)

Personally, I'm not a fan of hand tattoos, but lots of people like them

I’m a big fan of (good) hand tattoos, love the idea you’ve got too

That being said I put off having mine done due to my job. We’re both pretty covered and so definitely pro tattoo. I’d just say make sure you it won’t effect work life now or in the future

If there’s no issue, go get it

I have done my few months ago they have now new inks they looks very good I just liked colors on tattoo I know is more painful like black but that be really great look on your back your shoulders are really nice xx

It used to be that hands, face and neck were. People that had them were usually ex cons with prison tats. I look at these young kids getting their faces covered in their teens and kinda wish it still was (not really, I'm all about choice but make an informed one ffs) Body piercing is still illegal yet they have shops everywhere.

I can see the slight feminity, it’s something I’d do myself but if you pick the right position and you are already covered, they will blend perfectly!

Btwwww, I see that constellation a lot and can spot it in the sky, but I always thought it was the Chariot for whatever reason LMAO!! Now I’ll remember

Looks like a great tattoo idea. I have a tattoo on my hand which is around 6 years old that needs re-doing already. This seems to be a common problem with having them on your hands, they don't always last well.

I can see the slight feminity, it’s something I’d do myself but if you pick the right position and you are already covered, they will blend perfectly!

Thanks, one artist early on I was annoyingly recommended, as she was Pagan, did a dogs dinner of 3 early ones. I had to get 2 skilled artists to do what they could to improve them. If I had my last artist (Kate Murray Manchester) from the start my arms would have looked amazing.

Morning Tom! Why do you want your hands done so bad? Iv always gone on that tattoos should be hide-able. And think about if I make it to 70-80 it’s only going to be a squashed up inky mess among my wrinkly old skin!

Hiya all. I lost half me middle finger. Have a full sleeve and now I've seen an alligator tatt where the half finger is tattood as the snout with the body coming up the hand.. Wag the stump and ya wag the snout lol. Its either very childish or absolutely brilliant. Just need to decide which lol

It used to be illegal to tattoo below the wrists and above the neck. You see them everyday now.

I always think anything deep or meaningful should not be on your bum cheeks, think that area should be reserved for cheeky tattoos

I want it visible to be fair, bears are very significant in my life and the two bears represent me and my daughter. I know I’m Greek mythology the great bear was female. But that doesn’t matter too me.

Yeah these do a few people know my story about bears. And they represent my daughter and me. The added bonus that they are the bear constellations and extra meaning because even when we are apart for real, the great bear always points to the North Star so I can get home!
