Sounds that make you happy or make you laugh

Newcastle-under-Lyme

It was great to listen to people’s voices on the voice thread so I wondered what other sounds make you smile or laugh or just feel good.

A sharp intake of breath or a pant makes me smile when I’ve found that person’s sweet spot.

The sound of puppies yawning, play growling or learning to howl makes me laugh.

The sound of a stream or the sea makes me

feel good and relaxed.

What about you?

Generally the sound of laughter, whether it be in person, it over the TV or radio. It's infectious.

The sound of the waves relax me and make me feel at peace. Reminds me of my childhood and summer

I love the sound of the vibrations of the hammer of the piano hitting the keys and when those vibrations disappear

And I freaking love the grunts of the guys I’m intimate with, makes me grin

For a sound that makes me happy it has to be the chugging sound of an old steam train

My little nephews - when they laugh it’s infectious

The sound of an entire crowd at a festival or concert chanting back the song words at the top of there lungs

Birdsong. It is the chirpiest of things. We have a window in one of the buildings at work that backs onto the river and when you open it, it is like someone has played play on a tape recording of bird song, it is just the most perfect sound and very relaxing.

Big waves washing into sea caves - you feel the sound as much as hear it.

Thunder.

Rain on a tent.

Running water.

Skylarks

Buzzards calling high up - reminds me of a very happy childhood holiday.

The silence of fresh snow.

NBVN telling me she loves me.

Our horses are lacking most of their teeth on account of their age, horses slurping soaked hay and chaff doesn’t do it for me quite the same
