After much debating and deciding, I bought a tablet. I already have a mobile phone and laptop and now I question my new gadget!! It is a bit bigger than a mobile and a bit smaller than a laptop but really not much different to those. What should I use it for do you think? A mobile laptop?

That's pretty much what it is...a mobile computer that you can't do a lot on

Lol curiosity really got the better of me this time!! I do like it though and it will be handy to carry around - perhaps I'll keep all my music and pics on it.

No Dicky it's a little bit smaller than that - it has a 7" screen, no keyboard and no lid. A bit like an iPhone with regards to all the apps.

It's another charger to take away for weekends and holidays, if nothing else

We've now got a bag just for chargers and spare batteries...not including my 2 big camera bags that always go away with us too !

Mmmm maybe I'll start using it more than the laptop and take it with me everywhere, it'll go in my bag. What a gadget world we live in lol.

I use mine to do my Open University coursework on. It's really handy when I'm out and about and bored, ie Starbucks, the pub having lunch on my own, or when I'm on my break at work.

I couldn't use one full time, but it's a handy addition.

Was going to get a Kindle but decided to have a look around first.

Had a 7" tablet for 2 or 3 weeks now and very pleased with it. It's basically got all the facilities of a smartphone except for the phone function, and of course a much bigger screen! And I've downloaded the Kindle reader so basically sorted!!

And I've bought a case with a keyboard, simply plug and play, so it looks as if my netbook is now surplus to requirements!!
