I had intended to be in Japan for the Olympics this year (my third visit) but corporate sponsorship appear to over-ride public health measures so I'm stuck in the UK with no interest in watching the BBC (****** crap coverage) or Discovery (pay-to-view) channel. Once the current SARS-CoV-2 restrictions allow worldwide travel, I'll be back to Japan as it is one of the most amazing countries to visit. | |||

I’ve watched wheelchair rugby (which, for the record is the most brutal sport I’ve ever seen)
The chairs look really expensive. Same for any wheelchair sport. "I want to try wheelchair rugby too. They use chairs pretty similar to basketball, they just have spoke covers as standard and bigger leg protection areas at the front. They'd be a similar price, £1k for an absolute bare basic upto £3-4k for bespoke. If playing competitively, you need bespoke.... | |||

No spectators so there’s only a fraction of the merchandising opportunities etc. " Actually it’s not….. The pan European streaming right were sold in 2015 to discovery …. They then sub licensed the uk rights back to the BBC for Rio 2016….. Now there are things I learned today… for anyone who has Eurosport, which is free on sky basic I think… they have put on extra channels so you can see it all… Eurosport 3 to Eurosport 9 are on sky channels 983 to 989, BT channels 401 to 407, and virgin channels 537 to 543 | |||
