I got a Dyson hoover as an engagement present in 1999 and still have the same hoover. It's had a few bits replaced, went on fire and randomly sounds like it's going to take off but still going strong

I have a teenage mutant ninja turtles mug that I’ve had since I was 4. You can barely tell what it’s meant to be now because it’s that faded from trips round the dishwasher. That’s 33 years old now.

Replacement hose, plug, god knows how many fuses and it's got a nozzle which isn't the original and I can't for the life of me think why not

Slow cooker given to us not long after we got married it was my mums and she had had it since at least the late 70s. It is a really heavy one with a ceramic pot inside. Often use it during the winter. We do have a few antiques and the likes dotted around the house but that has to be the oldest most useful thing we own.

A picture that my Dad gifted to me when I was small. The frame is an aircraft window by a Polish soldier and the picture is made out of foil against a black background.

I was fascinated with it and my Dad would hold me up to look at it, it was on my bedroom wall then I took it with me when I moved out. I have had it for 47

So I wrapped mine up and it now lives in the bottom of the wardrobe

The oldest keepsake is a stuffed toy from my childhood; perfectly preserved.

The most ancient item I owned is a type of fruit tree that was brought to these islands by the Romans; very very rare specimen.

I've got a 100 year old oxford dictionary and some where knocking about i have a wordsworth and collerage book of poetry which is over 100 years old. Think I've got some other stuff too but not as old
