I'm no longer a site supporter, so I can't upload a video. However:

People in here in Nottingham have described me as sounding "posh" and "foreign".

People from the south have described me as sounding like "a bit of northern rough".

People from the north have described me sounding "posh" and "southern".

People from where I grew up have said that I now have a "generic university accent".

Make of that what you will.

We were just trying to work out where yours is from, certainly not as strong as many around Snowdonia for example, very soft and makes you sound friendly and kind (that matt just be pre-conception from me.

It's called a "kantele" it's an ancient string instrument from Finland.

The Finnish guy i bought it from makes some that are a big as a bed, with a zillion strings on. But I thought a small one would be plenty for me

I have no clue always lived on the Borders, my Mum and Grandparents all had strong Welsh accents and were first language, so I guess it is the influences

Well I've never been described as sweet before. I used to have quite a good telephone voice, but a year of not talking to anyone has seen that one off. I was more concerned about sounding like a Yam Yam
