I read the first... hideous book

They didn't get any better. But much like a crap film, I had to see them out to find out how the story ended.

I am generally not a fan of words that have had “ties” added to the end - primarily panties as said by others, and also titties. No, they are either pants (as you don’t say underpanties do you?) or tits.
