I am a runner, in fact I need to go out for an interval training run later on but I need it to cool down a bit before I head out.

Did a race yesterday. 24th out of 200.

Did I enjoy running during it? Actually yes. Till the last mile. Dam it's hot out there.

Spent most of today absolutely shagged though. And not in a good way!

I used to but have horrendous plantar fasciitis if I just go for a 3 mile walk these days. Lots of stretching needed but I hate stretching lol

Need to do c25k again though. Shame as I was regularly doing 10k/half marathons and have even completed the London marathon (but was very slow lol)

Nope not at all. I run to chase things, that's why I prefer sports to the gym. I need a purpose or I get bored.

Went for a second run in years. Now I remember why I stopped running!

But maybe it'll be enjoyable, when I can run to the other side of the street without getting winded?

I've got an interval run tonight too but it's still not raining so I might get up really early instead.

I really enjoy running. I've got my first multi sport event (swim/run) at the weekend so I'm nervous and excited.

Went from struggling to run 1 mile to running a sub 2hr half marathon in the 1st lockdown

Running sucks until you get kinda good at it. Once you can comfortably put down 5 miles and learn how to run properly at a real pace, 120-140bpm kinda run, it’s actually quite enjoyable

I like 5K sprints 1/2 marathon on road and slower trail and fell runs 3-4 hours. The last are my faves up in the peaks in winter and spring. Marathons and ultras put me on lows for weeks after so I stopped doing them a few years back

Today it was 4 miles, 1 mile warm up with 2x 1 mile intervals at my 10k fastest pace with half a mile recovery in-between and a cool down at the end.

Oh my bloody hell it was boiling out, I am dripping wet with sweat right now as I have just got back.

(Mr) Depends on the route, scenery and company. Mountain run on a crisp winter’s day… magical. Routine tun around town or same old park just to out the miles in. Boring as fk.

A few years ago when I started running After about 3 or 4 miles I used to get a massive rush… it was a bit like the feeling you used to get on a Friday or Saturday night in the 90s! If I could get that same endorphin rush again I’s happily run a 1/2 marathon every day!

Yes know that feeling, even more so this last week with the heat, it's been a struggle in the early evening.

Glad that I've accomplished the c25k though and please about, especially as the youngest does the junior park run and I can now run with him and not feel exhausted after the first 100yrds.

The problem I find with the apps on the phone is that they can record different distances for the same run all depending upon what the GPS & WiFi signal are like.
