My armpits have itched like crazy in the heat. I keep washing them and think I may ditch my spray on deodorant.

Will I stink? Are there alternatives ? Will I smell like a real man…?

Mancave eucalyptus roll on. Not only will you feel like a real man, you'll be pretty cool as well

It's probably a good idea to stop using your deodorant for now, wash frequently with a gentle soap, put on a gentle moisturiser, even if you only do that at night. I would probably use a small amount of steriod cream, but i am prescribed that. Maybe try a deodorant from Body Shop, see if that's better ?

Spooky, I was thinking about posting on similar lines, but about antiperspirant. Hate the stuff and while the scent may mask the whiff temporarily, the clogged pores will out in the end and back when I used to use it as a self conscious teenager I inevitably got itchy and my pits smelled really bad when it wore off.

I just wash regularly with unscented soap now and while I do still sweat in this heat, it's (to my nose anyway) a natural and not unpleasant aura, not the vile BO that used to happen when using antiperspirant.

I was getting super itchy armpits a few months ago so I switched to the twist up dove cream stick with moisturising cream and its much better.

Worthing

Make sure armpits are shaved/trimmed. The hairs trap sweat which is where the smell comes from. Ensure you shower often and wear loose shirts.
