I went in primary school with my church group.

The song I'll forever associate with it is Another Night, Real McCoy

Yes! Rollers in Bletchley every weekend. All night skates. Chariots. Speed skate sessions. Stuck in the mud. I bloody loved it.

I was a quad girl though with cushions, not hockey socks.

I thought I was so cool lol

I went to one a few years ago with friends, slowly doing laps and worrying about snapping my wrists if I fell while teenagers were flying past backwards and doing fancy twists and turns

I used to love the roller disco. But I loved my roller boots full stop...I found them in my parents loft a few years ago, crammed my feet into them even though they are at least two sizes too small, and spent an hour skating up and down the road outside their house, whilst being shouted at to "stop being a bloody idiot and showing us up in front of the neighbours!"

When Rollerworld opened in Derby back in the mid 80's. Samantha Fox grabbed me by the hand and took me on a couple of laps, I was scared shitless

Yeah, but she couldn't half skate though, and put on a brilliant performance with some of her entourage

Rollerblades for me way back when, in the skateparks and halfpipes. Never did the rollerdisco thing.

As folk are sharing video's too, here's a good'un (especially if you know Newport! )...

Yes and I have relived it recently with some turbo 33s,I have been going a few times recently to a local ish rink. They have adult only nights as well that should be fun and still play some of the old tunes!!
