"Also watch out for rising electricity prices. I live in Spain and the price rose yesterday to 111 Euros per kWh. You read that right. Spain has spent billions to meet their boast of being the "Saudi Arabia of renewable energy". If you don't keep an eye on the UK government you'll find yourselves unable to drive or keep warm" OK will keep it in mind

Not everyone has a place to keep one regardless of cost/desire. I live in an apartment building and our parking spaces don’t have charging points

"Just gone electric, a charge costs £12.40 on my current tariff which gets me 260 miles." electric cars have thier place, but dont kid yourself that they are better for the enviorament, dont forget alot of power stations are either coal or gas still, nevermind all the stuff in batteries, and try putting out a lithium battery thats on fire! plus most people dont have a convieniant way to charge them at home, think city dwellers in flats etc, or terriced houses with on street parking etc, so electric isnt the answer, and if you do long trips, well then useless day to day without worrying you will run out and finding a place to charge, and if we all got one the national grid wouldnt cope. that said if i lived in a house with a drive/garage and had a fairly short comute then i wouldnt hesitate. the other worry is, how are the gov going to get back all the lost fuel duty, yet to be seen
