Kirklees

Hello

A gig I have tickets for in London has announced its going ahead. I want to drive down. Is there parking at the O2 or close by that is reasonable?

Thanks

The Town by The Cross

Google maps will give you directions and car parking.

The O2 site will give you parking info.

Parkopedia will give you parking , distances to 02 and prices.

You have to have the internet though. Have you got the internet ?

There and to the left a bit

Parking is available at the O2 but it's quite expensive - last time I looked it was about £30 for an event night I think.

However, if you park in North Greenwich Underground Car Park which is just as close to the O2 as their own car parks - it's less than a tenner, although you need to time it right to get a space.

Alternatively if you're planning on not hanging around after the gig then park somewhere like Canary Wharf and get the tube to the O2 (which is only two stops).

Park outside London some where like Kirklees and get the train in and a hotel.

There will be rouge wasteland places to park cheaply but these are not secure.

Have fun.

Market Harborough / Kettering

Theres a multi storey car park behind Blackfriars Station that charges £4 per vist Saturday afternoons and Sunday. Think its called Barnard House or something like that. Has 24 hour security and CCTV. Park there and its only a few stops on the tube.

On a mooch

I would say stay north of the river for parking. Stratford or Canary Wharf and then jubilee to O2, getting north again will be painful. Even parking further afield and a connection to the jubilee would work.

Also bear in mind depending on your type if car and when your event is you may need to pay a ULEZ charge when driving in London. The extension of the zone comes into effect 25 October this year.
