Double jabbed and tested posibtive for Covid last Tuesday then confirmed the next day with PCR test. I’ve read that for the next 90 you can’t continue to test positive even though after 10 days you’re not contagious? So through boredom and curiosity I done a few lateral flow tests last week that continued being positive, however for the last 5 days I’ve had 5 negative tests. So this confuses me?!? Also in the last 5 days of negative lateral flow tests I’ve felt much worse than the previous days when I tested positive

I meant for the next 90 days “you can continue to test positive”

I believe the advice is to quarantine 10 full days after a positive PCR test. What additional advice are you hoping for ?

I’d read that you are likely to test positive for up to 90 days afterwards although not contagious after 10 days.

Also lately I’ve been taking a LFT before I visit an older relative but not sure what to do for the next 90 days if I can’t do that

Likely doesn't mean you will. It also doesn't meant you are contagious, just that it's still present in your body.

If you are concerned I'd contact 119 (think that's the covid number) and possibly put off the visit.

General advice is after 10 days you can go about your business as normal providing you are feeling well enough.

LFT aren’t accurate especially for people who have already had been vaccines

We’ve heard that from several GP practices as various friends have had covid symptoms
