Redditch

By something nasty either yesterday evening or overnight, and my arm is now swelling up like a rubber glove.

I've put antihistamine ointment on it already, but it still itches like fuck and I'm starting to notice the pressure it's exerting on my watch strap, and on the muscles in general.

Should I only worry if it looks like it'll reach my ticker? lol

Get an oral anti-histamine from your pharmacy. If you start to notice your heart-rate increase of your breathing to Labour more than usual go seek proper medical advice

Once you get an answer here... Call 111 or pop into your GP and ask them where to find your local sex club/dogging spot lol

Err if it’s really big and painful I’d get it checked out to be fair, maybe it was a spider or something…

Can you recognise a mosquito bite? If that’s the case then obviously it’s nothing to worry about but sounds like more..

I would go to a pharmacist / GP today or call 111, you don’t want to chance it. If your arm is swelling up there’s definitely something further you need to do.

If the bar is already fitted then it's just a few bolts.

Oh wait, that's towing balls sorry!

Draw a line around the extremety of the swelling and see wether it goes past that.

Ring 111 for further advice or go to the pharmacy and speak to a pharmacist.

I've loosened it a bit for now, thanks, and a lady in the office has given me a hay fever / general allergy tablet for now.

I'll drop by the pharmacy on the way home from work later

I was bitten by clegs (horseflies) at the weekend. The bites have blistered and the 5cm radius around it is red. I always react like this to them. Antihistamine both orally and topically. Be fine in a few days.

Also if it gets warm to the touch seek professional advice.

If I get bitten I generally swell quite badly but it calms down ofer a day or so.

Horse fly bites in particular are nasty.

when out in the fields we have to completely cover ourselves because of ticks.

its a real problem at the moment but the crows are enjoying them as they pull them off the animals
