.... Keeping Chickens!!

We have 5. Lovely as they are, they are now in danger of be becoming chicken goujons!!

Anyone else have experience of these devious fowls? They can break out of harder situations than HenDini ever did. Result chicken crap all over the patio followed by chicken chasing and a bit of fun with me hosepipe

Although have to say since I forgot to shut their door an hour ago, not one has tried to beak out...

Central

Their droppings are great for garden fertiliser, subject to being composted.

They'll eat tons of stuff, just experiment with the occasional waste you may have at home, and see what they like. Also, get to know them, as they're friendly and will reciprocate. They're naturally inquisitive and somewhat roaming, so consider giving them a greater roaming space, when it's practical.

For one moment I thought you were going to go down the all too obvious route of claiming you had four bitches and one large cock....... ??

When we have bought them home I have suggested many names, such as Kiev , nugget, that kind of thing but it be never went down well lol

Besides we have two rules in our house.

1. Facebook is banned

2. We do not eat family members
