So what plank do you spank, or box do you rocks?

88 USA Standard Strat is my main squeeze, bulletproof, makes every sound I want, been gigged to hell and back when I was playing regularly. Pretty much the perfect guitar.

Also have a Revelation RTJ60-12 which is a Jazzmaster flavoured electric 12 and is an awesome piece of work (not expensive either).

Quite jealous of the 88 USA strat.

I have a Mex strat with extra Roland GK pick up.

90s Epiphone sunburst Les paul,

Partscaster with strat neck and Roland GK pick up and an Ibanez semi-acoustic for open mic nights.

I'm actually a drummer with just one kit but there's something about guitars you just have to have more than one.

3/4 size eh? I love a lady who doesn't think size matters. I actually fabbed that photo a bit back, loved it. Stick with the practice, not sure a 3/4 guitar will be making it easy though unless you have exceptionally small hands. Nothing comes easy, anyone has the ability to learn anything new, it just depends on how much you really want to.

My favourite ever Yamaha apx10na classic acoustic this guitar is just amazing so well made and so rare to find these days , but like i said i can't wait to have the Fender American professional 2 in Olympic white with maple fingerboard

Yeah, from when they started to build them right again. I sometimes wish it was a little lighter and more resonant, like some cheaper Squiers I've played, but then when you get the gain and volume up you realise what a seriously sorted guitar it truly is. Two-point knife-edge trem bridge and it's stable enough to float and still stay in tune.

And built myself a Telecaster copy

Last year bought an electronic drum kit for laying down drum tracks in pro tools

Freshman FA1N acoustic, had the money to get a decent guitar and tried all the big names, Gibson, Fender, yamaha, Martin etc then tried the Freshman and fell in love with it. Great playability instantly hit chords I'd struggled with for years.

Got a number of others but this one is my fav.

Too hot at the moment to fire up the valve amps and fx so will stick to my acoustic for now.

This is so true, some Epi just sound so great and there are some Gibson Les Paul's that I have played that sound shite for a lot more money.

ive got many..my favourite is my prs 24 hardtail...ive got a shop custom strat(that i dont use for gigs etc) ive got a gibson j45 acoustic...my other favourite is a my cheap strat..made by a company called fenix cost me 50 quid and it outplays many guitars in the thousand pounds bracket...ive got a fenix tele too

Dont have any electric guitars anymore more but I did own a Mexican strat, it was okay , but I much preferred my 1981 Japanese squire , put through a 100w Marshall head and cab it sounded better than the Mexican fender and much nicer to play

Over the years i have owned quite a few, a tele, a les paul and a rickenbacker. All long gone now. I only have 2 left and they are the first 2 i ever bought. A Hofner Galaxie and a Gibson Flying v.

The Galaxie is what i cut my guitar teeth on so to speak. A very difficult guitar to play, but once mastered it just rewards you and is forever giving. Some guitars have a completely unique sound and the Galaxie falls straight into that niche.

The Flying v though is a completely different beast. It's one of the very few guitars that is completely playable all the way up to the higher frets, especially when you have small hands like me. It's easily the lightest guitar i have ever played and is so well balanced you can let go and it just stays still. These 2 guitars i will keep until the day i die.

Im firing up my 60s white falcons through my 70s marshall jmp 2203 100 plus 2x4 stack now that rocks i bought one of the falcons off robert plants guitarist in the uda it knocks the other one to bits on of best gretsch i own and played I do like a nes les paul custom but to be honest i make better ones and juniors

.PRS SE (like I could afford a USA one pfft) Custom 24 - plays like a dream.

.Cort KX508 8 String Multi Scale (fanned frets) Fishman Fluence Humbuckers - Plays okay, it's not my fave, needs a real setup, I think.

.Revelation RJT 60 (like OPs but not a 12 string) - for the money plays incredible, really holds its own among guitars four times the price

.Steinberger Spirit Bass - because who doesn't love that shape.

.Some 60s classical guitar

.Hohner 6 string acoustic

.Tanglewood 12 string acoustic

.Mystery Strat - Inherited from a family member when they died. I think it's a parts-caster, somebody pieced this guitar together.

No name on the headstock, not a fender shaped headstock.

Maple neck + fretboard

Weighs quite a lot, as much as an LP.

Think it's one piece of wood, I don't see any joins on the body.

Brass stop-tail with vintage style saddles

brass nut

Sperzel Tuners, non-locking (from the 80s I think)

Unknown pickups, but I'm always blown away by the clarity and harmonic response from them, so I suspect not shit ones. They look like Gilmour EMG sigs, but not branded so probably not.

5-way selector switch naturally

An additional switch - I'm really not sure what it's doing, but things get louder and less noisy (almost like a humbucker)

It's a real curio of mine and I think I got lucky with this guitar

I have a handmade Spanish / classical I don't know what it is but it sounds great , it was made for flamenco so has a few subtle differences to regular classical.

Somewhere I have an old strat copy I paid £75 for on Gumtree But not any old copy, it’s a 1981 Japanese squire , which means technically it’s as good as the real thing. And it is, better in fact than the £600 Mexican strat original I used to own

Japanese guitars are amazingly build quality , that 1981 Japanese Squire is a collectors guitar these days i would say and highly rated on the market . One guitar that i really want to buy from the call Japanese golden era is the Yamaha SA50 the green one , i just need to wait till one , comes up for sale at a price that i can afford
