What platforms Legion on?

Might give 2001 a watch.

Its a reimagining of Terry Pratchetts Watch series of novels (vimes et al) it’s a mash-up of the storylines, with the characters all a bit mashed up too set in a kinda steampunk version of the discworld. I was confused by it to be honest, but if I suspended my knowledge of the books, it’s kinda okay, perhaps a little cliche/woke depending on your viewpoint.

Solaris was remade with George Clooney. They are more philosophical than a lot of US sci-fi. Not the easiest watch, perhaps, but rewarding and thought provoking imo.

Interesting fact about Stalker. The first section is in really high contrast black and white. The original footage got ruined and they had to reshoot it on unfamiliar stock so it was developed less than optimally. And it looks stunning, not to mention the very long single-take scene right at the start that'll have any true cinephile's mouth watering at its audacity.

Legion is a brilliant mindbender of a series. It's quite gruesome really, but really dark with the humour. David is possibly the most powerful character in the marvelverse

I'm gonna rewatch the Expanse and maybe Dark Matter. If I get time I might re-read Dune.

Oooh me too, and the prequels and sequels. I'll be getting a dose of Brandon when I read the last couple of the Wheel of Time books by Robert Jordan that I've just started rereading - possibly my favourite fantasy of all time. I can't wait for the TV series to come out! Apparently they've commissioned a second season even though the first isn't out yet, so they're pretty confident.

I've been waiting forever for Dune 2020 - Jason Mamoa as Duncan Idaho, Josh Brolin as Gurney Halleck - just hope the young kid can pull off playing Paul Atriedes. The Sandman Graphic novels are simply amazing, from the artwork, story and the family of the Endless , Death (She is sooo cool),Destruction,Destiny,Delirium,Desire and Lord of all - Dreams. I'm wondering how the can pull that film off too!
