recommendation regrets

Have you ever regretted acting on a recommendation?

I was recommended the film Hostel by a friend, back when it came out. I'd heard about it and didn't like the sound it, but he practically insisted I watched it. He said I simply had to see.

So I saw it, and no, I really did not have to see it.

Someone recommended Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas to me. I waited 2 hours for it all to start making sense.
