It is great to get a reply I agree, having said that I would not necessarily feel ignored if I did not get one every time. People log on and off, sometimes get side tracked... or feel they have said all they wanted to say. Mind thats more on the threads rather than in real life perhaps.

No I seldom need the last word.

I'd go as far as to say I'd only need the last word if I was trying to save someone from ill fate.

I don't need the last word on here - ever.

There are times when pure ignorance, inexperience and emotional/mental instability in their truest form simply shine from certain people.

It's best all round to recognise that despite having the tools and the wherewithall, that paucity of time coupled with the profound density of certain people that any effort would be a total waste of time and void of any pleasure.

Well it all depends if what you said was worthy of a reply though but people do get side tracked "how rude" they do though the posts in these forums are far more important than anything else such as a meet or eating !!!

That's okay for kids. Or fictitious American Cops and even overly beautiful and emotional Hosp. Emergency Docs with a dying equally beautiful before them.

In reality 'knowing' you are right is sufficient but your right not happening doesn't have such an enormous consequence on the world as you'd like to think it does.

Other people's truths work just as well.

You can't control the universe.

See... im going to have to leave this thread now and start another one

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

There is just one person that I have circular 'conversations' with. Neither of us like to let the other have the last word. The other person will change the subject as their way of ending it and then toss it back in the other direction - and get upset when I counter. Or something will be said it will trigger a thought on the old conversation for me that I have to follow through.

I maintain I am always right because my memory is better than theirs.

With just about everyone else I am happy to leave the last word to someone else.

Im not one for having the last word, if i want to get my point over i will say it and they will know ive said it. But if i know im right about something and some says something else the people i know once they realized they where wrong will apologize and i know they will so i dont have to fight my point same as if im wrong i will apologize. Once on here years ago i had a blazing row and wouldnt let it drop until i had the final word, and at the end of the day it just showed i was bitch fighting

When I was young we all had our evening meals together and always talked about the news of the day, politics, what crimes had been in new etc etc. I really believe it helped me form opinions. When we used to debate at school no one would take me on because of our family meal time talks. Even now when we all manage to meet up the hangers on always leave us to it. But we never argued it was a debate we no out right winner only aired opinions That was my experience of family life as I grew up and I have instilled it in my own kids also. Does not mean they dont argue.. but they have learnt to respect each other."

Now all we have to do is instill it into Westminster and everyone will be happy
