Are you good at remembering your shopping list?

From the land of haribos.

With this I mean, can you go to the shops without the shopping list and get all the things without forgetting the items? I can but sometimes I forget 1 or 2 items

I always forget something...and it's usually the thing I most wanted to remember But if I make a list I usually forget to take it, so I'm doomed either way

Why is it your brain will tell you’ve forgotten something, but won’t tell you what the thing is till you’ve got home and then it says ‘Here it is, here’s the thing you forgot!’ Yeah, thanks brain you massive twat.

No, I’m truly terrible, and if I do a list, I normally lose it on the way to the shop.

I do use the notes app more now.

I can't go to the shops without a list even if it's just for a few things. I have a terrible memory.

I use a dedicated recipe/shopping list app. I don't always refer to it as the act of making a note of it seems to help me remember.

Depends. If I go alone and I’m not in a rush I can.

But, if I take my youngest with me it’s like he’s a contestant on Supermarket Sweep and I’m legging it round the store trying to contain him and his enthusiasm for everything on the shelves. The list is loooong forgotten by then

If you walked up and down every aisle in our local Asda on a Saturday, you'd be in there for a good 6 hours

No if we go to a supermarket our shopping will cost at least £50 more than if we do it online. Obviously we now shop online and have done for many many years now but I forget what I want to order walking from the kitchen to the laptop.

Yes thank you, I take it with me!

When they change the aisles around because they want to change their impulse buying products. That pisses me off cos the shopping takes longer. Bastards.

Yep. I can do a whole weekly shop all from memory. Very rarely do I ever forget anything. I'm 'lucky' if that's the word as I have a photographic memory. I don't have a diary even. If I make, say, a dentist's appointment in 12 weeks then I'll remember and turn up on time.

I also only ever watch films or TV series the once. Don't need a 2nd viewing as I remember it.

Any flaws in this? Oh yes! I have one... I can't remember birthdays and have even forgotten my own some years bizarrely!

I write a list and cross put once items in trolley etc. Reason doing this. Once went to supermarket. Only needed a few items. Put a couple etc in trolley . Then spoke with someone who I worked with. I was stood next to next item i wanted. Finished conversation . Carried on and when arrived home realised forgotten milk . This was most important item I wanted milk forgotten

No. We always use a list app on our phones that are linked so we can go the the supermarket together and keep track of what each other has picked up.

My memory is very good . I have perhaps part photo memory . Can remember written details etc , not exact dates but very close. Know this from last company I worked for. Yet not full details of perhaps exact conversations or written details. When asked company checked and yes they told me 90 % or more accurate of fault etc had occurred with details stored.

I hate shopping lists.

I can still come out of the supermarket fully laden, thinking I've done good and when I get home my Mrs will point out immediately that I've missed something....

I should take my glasses along to be able to read the list next time!

Forgotten a shopping item? So many times it hurts.

I’ve even forgotten to take a hand written list - Plenty of times!

It got so bad that one time I was driving along the M4 and suddenly relapsed is forgotten the car

I shop online now and have it delivered to my doorstep by all manner of strange looking delivery people. They’re usually very talkative and every week I dress up in disguise, to keep them on their toes. .

I don’t know why anyone would do anything else
