So who has the better voice and you would prefer to listen to?

NKK

But...

GP's cover of Bruno Mars' 'Just the Way you are' is, quite simply, awesome

They are very different. Nat had a bit of a pure, crooner voice whereas Porter has a really rich, soulful voice. I personally prefer Porter's singing, but Nat King Cole was a great pianist which is often forgotten.

Gregory Porter singing ‘it’s probably me’ the theme to Lethal Weapon and written by Sting, is a delight to hear.

But I’ll always give it to Nat King Cole

Somewhere In The Ether…

Gregory has a fantastic voice but it’s another vote for Nat here; his tone was both effortless and simply sublime

Nat had a velvet voice, amazing control, Gregory has amazing delivery too, though choice but Nat just has it for me.

Couldn't choose, love both. Grew up listening to NKC and listen to GP with my daughters now.

Missin’ Yo’ Kissin’

Nat King Cole & so was his Daughter Natalie. I got acd of hers covering her dad's famous tunes - It's refreshing to hear the different styles!

There’s absolutely no comparison here, Nat King Cole had one of the finest singing voices ever.

Porter is good but he’s nothing in comparison to Nat.

Nat King Cole’s voice is matched only by Sinatra in terms of tone and diction. So Cole for me

The right place

Both quite different voices. I like them both.

Painted on canvas is one of my favourite GP songs though.

Gregory Porter , he can change from jazz to dance with ease, holding on with disclosure is one of my all time favourites , and Concorde was the last song I sang at a karaoke, what a song
