Using filters

I’m hoping to get some Fab advice from you lovely forumites, if you don’t mind

I currently have my profile hidden, but I’d like to start conversing with some of the lovely men whose messages I’ve saved over the last couple of months. Obviously, they’ll want to see my profile and pics again….so my question is, can I unhide my profile but set my filters to accept no incoming messages, and does that mean that only people I’ve messaged can converse with me?! I just want to stop the onslaught of messages when I come out of hiding, as it’s honestly completely unmanageable!! Any other advice on this would be much appreciated.

Set your filters to no men - or change your age filters so no-one under 99 can message you

Should add that that won't stop anyone you've messaged from responding to you - certainly not in the age one anyway

And a direct copy/paste from the filters page:

"Filters don't apply and people can message if you've mailed someone before (if you message someone you have filtered, they can reply), you have winked at someone, or you are friends."

I alway recommend women to use the site filters.

You can still message any man who you like the look of and if he turns out to be a jerk he still can be blocked by you.

It's personal choice using the filters, some do and others never do.

If someone has a open line off message to you before filters are set they can still get past them
