Somewhere near here

Read my profile and made conversation from it. No mention of sex, no expectation of meeting.

Paradise, Herts

I don’t really get turned on by messages. That only comes when I’ve known them a bit longer.

A message addressed to both of us, that shows they have read out profile and that has something interesting/funny to say (Hippy is a sucker for Dad jokes).

A message sent to me from someone I have had no previous conversation or connection with will never come across as a turn on to me no matter how hard they try.

I am only going to get turned on by messages from people who I have built up a connection with, whether from flirtatious forum threads or DM chats that have progressed to flirtation over time.

As a recipient of those types of messages I am thinking oh its another PPI claim or accident in the last 3 years type of message.

Yet once a connection is built up I can get instantly turned on by the slightest message. There are some people where we may not chat for a few weeks but when we reconnect sparks fly instantly.

So my advice OP is to invest your time in getting to know people, people watch on the forums, interact and participate well on the forums because when you move the chats to DM your messages stand a better chance of turning the recipient on.

I wanted to write something similar to this.

It’s always those that you have built up some kind of connection that gets me turned on to someone. Especially if they’ve actually read my profile and something within it, also resonates with themselves. Shared fantasies are always more of a turn on than ‘what are you into’ messages.

Not a turn on as such but a bit of a sense of humour or something quirky will catch my eye
