open forest/wooded areas around Peterborough

Hi all,

Just wanted to ask if anyone knew any good open forest/wooded areas or national forest around or outside of Peterborough that are good for a bit of outdoor fun? Need a place that is large enough to slip away in some bushes for a few hours without being seen/heard? Thanks!
