It stresses me out when I get given those fancy patterned ones because I know I will lose one. My son bought me some fancy patterned slipper sock type things and I dare not wear them because I know I will lose one from a pair

Have you checked the trap?

They can often slid down between the rubber and the drum. Did they defo go into togeather? I find things like this in pillowcases, duvet covers and inside sleeves

Dear lord! I mean cracking solution, I'm very much a solution focused person...but my word! You must live alone

Can you imagine a family of 4 ... i hate doing the underwear I'm constantly thinking and making inventions to hang and dry underwear ... same with cutlery washing, but easier with the dishwasher nkw but still makes me growl

Your deductions are correct, I live alone.

Don’t know what age your family are or what your system of presenting clothes for the wash is, but, could the individuals pin them themselves prior to putting them in the laundry basket.

As I say, this maybe totally impractical for your circumstances.

When girls go to the toilet togeather is this what we talk about the important life issues of the kissing sock...was my interpretation

Sexist was a question to a) thats what women talk up laundry and home making b) laundry is a womans 'job'

You've got to pick your battles, I settled for;they have brought down their laundry, socks arent rolled bunched up and trousers and sleves are both pulled out.

My system for presenting starts with placing a red candle above,an ode to the great machine of wash whilst scattering oak leaves. I finish by bowing and walking backwards so not to turn my back, if I miss this last step I am reminded of such when I go to open the door at the end, it withholds the I'm now unlocked click, it will fool me with series of clicks just to drive the point home
