There's a lamp post straight outside our bedroom

Thankfully, it has a deflector on it, but the room is still light

I have blackout blinds too, but I leave them open about 5 inches just so my plants don't die. It's a really bright room anyway.

Darker the better for sleeping though.

At night I always leave the landing light on, dont like being in total darkness (I’m a big baby lol) but I do have blackout blinds to stop the sunlight waking me up in the morning

Market Harborough / Kettering

My bedroom has a built in sound system and the control panel is illuminated. Every night it feels like the sun is shining even though its just a small LED light. Im going to have to stick something over it as I need complete darkness to sleep.

Absolutely! However sometimes I might have to pop on how to train your dragon in the background if my heads in overdrive haha

Missin’ Yo’ Kissin’

I prefer darkness to get off to sleep - then I sleep like I'm dead.

I'm also really lucky to be able to cat nap (I often find that 1/2 hrs quick kip is better than 8 hrs!)

I need complete darkness but I cannot sleep in silence. I need the radio or a podcast on to help me sleep.

I prefer the dark that's why I'm always up early in the summer because the light wakes me

One thing I'll say .. If you have a fear.. find a way to beat it..walk down a dark ally and don't look back no matter how much you want to.. your mind can overcome anything..
