I would say I have average confidence. I don't feel worried about myself, nor do I think I am great. I am just me.

Confident in some scenarios, quiet unassuming in others.

Let's just say it isn't great. Unfortunately I think it's this place that has eaten away at it and the lack of interest ( when my filters are open.)

If I knew of any similar places I would use them instead, but there are some people I like perving on so I'm persistent.

I do hope it improves. I'm turning 30 fairly soon so I'm hoping my thirties might be a better decade for me.

I really don't think so sadly.

The one thing I will say to all those who are turned off by a lack of confidence is that I'm confident enough to be honest, unfiltered and completely myself. I hope that counts for something!

Not to be disrespectful, but from what i've seen on your profile, in that respect you also have nothing to have a lack of confidence. I'm sure it's similar to a lot of others on here though, so we can only help ourselves and help bring each other up.

I'm more confident in myself now than when I was in my 20's & 30's! I've made loads of mistakes & learnt quickly from them.

I don't think there is anything I can't solve now with a bit of thinking & common sense and a few work arounds.

However, I'm finding it harder to keep fitter now. That is a work in progress. But have tonnes of gardening to do so cross fingers -that might work? Hope so!

Confidence , ok if chatting to say people in say business situation. If social not good. But then if start to talk will relax and be ok.

Or, start judging others and see how that makes you feel.

Or simply understand that everyone is doing the best they can with what they have got, or they wouldn’t be doing it.

Suspect those who are judging would find a little solace in themselves understand they are doing the best they can, with what they have got.

Ps, we got a semi invite to elite couples recently, didn’t know they had opened up a big bear category.

I think these days it's more what people don't say and feeling like the least attractive here. I commented on a thread and the OP had complimented the other women when replying but didn't me. They don't look like they would even be my type but it but me so hard.

No-one will be attracted to you if you don't have some confidence in yourself though. I've got to work on myself and hopefully I'll get there one day.

I should add. Having been on internet since dial up. Looking at tv, online etc. The new “norm “ for a lot of photos and programs . Male and female have to have nearly body “perfect “ shapes. So anyone else is not normal ?

Struggle with both to be honest. Have mild Asperger's and have suffered with anxiety for many years so it can fluctuate from very poor to passable. Have very mild psoriasis to boot so body confidence tends to tank when it flares ups or leaves scaring. Still will always keep trying to overcome what I can control and not let the things are can’t drag me down or inhibit me from enjoying life as best I can

You are absolutely right,No matter how many compliments I receive I believe none of them, but when people are nasty or make snide comments it sticks. Though I find people criticising my character much worse. I wish I had that I don’t give a shit attitude

My perceived personality has been criticised so much simply based on status updates rather than getting to know me, and as a result I receive a lot less interest than other women.seem to generate ( going from what I've read in the forums and in profiles.)

That has really upset me and gets me really upset. I'm thinking of just keeping my age range at 99 as it only upsets me if I can't find the people i'm looking for.

So I totally understand where you're coming from.x

I have very little self confidence, I haven't since my teens. Unless I hide behind a mask.

Stick me on a motorbike with a full face helmet, or abicycle with a fresh hat a pair of oakleys and I can be very self confident.

I think that is the same with putting on make up, wig and womens clothes. I feel very self confident.

Sometimes I feel quite confident in myself and in how I look, because I feel good, but then I see photos where there are no filters or flattering angles, or whatever, and I feel disgusting. My face is too fat, I have a big double chin, and my eyes are too small, I have lumpy bits, and I just feel so ugly then and it really dents my confidence for a long time. I don't let people take photos of me anymore, which is really sad, because it's like I don't exist in their lives then. They won't be able to look back on events we went to together and have find memories involving me, because I was always behind the camera, too afraid to be in front of it

In some areas I have an astonishing level of self confidence and self belief, almost to the point of arrogance. That confidence has grown over time and I don't downplay my abilities and talents.

In other areas I have very little self confidence, and that hasn't changed over time. I'm hoping to reach a point of loving acceptance, but it's tough work to get there. I don't believe I'll reach a point of positive self confidence in those areas.
