I was on forums last night / early hours this morning. At around 2am had mail asking me to meet now. Now I had not put any request up on Fab.

Checked and found profile female , with veris . But not being shown.

I did answer and profile replied that contacted me as online etc and was reasonably close. Meet was at their place. Replied that having had drink was over limit to drive.

My thought after was. For female ? to ask for meet at that time of morning and at theirs would be very risky for both.

I had the same the other day. The fact that I’ve only ever received a reply from about 2 woman this year set alarm bells ringing. I was waiting for the ‘You can check more of my pictures out on…’ message but I really couldn’t be bothered to continue thy conversation with her. You can spot a fake a mile off

Agreed, it can happen but always check for red flags, at that time in morning, I'd want videocall at least ,but ......I've been asked before and couldn't be arsed to get all showered up

I suspect that had you of been able to drive OP that either you'd have got there to find no-one home or no-one matching the profile owner anyway, or the next message would have asked for money, or you'd have turned up to find a bloke, or potentially something a lot more dangerous.

While it's possible it was completely genuine, on the balance of probability I'd suggest your instincts are the best protection. If you had been able to go I'd have suggested a phone/video call at the very least and even that is not foolproof.

At my age, get very suspicious of any mail ect from females. Would want to meet first in public place to prove genuine. So getting mail at 2am . Was not going to happen.

I agreed to meet a couple in Walsall last night. Got there then told a different address a Mile away. Then they blocked me. They have been on over a year. I suspect it was a very pissed husband having a mess around. Childish stupid behaviour makes it harder for people to trust and agree to meets.

My friend had one the other day from a couple at 1.45 am, he said I was with him too so we said why not and both went, it was fun, they were visiting the city. She was nice he was a little odd…messaged the following day but haven’t heard since ( nor would I rush to meet again) but wax a thrill! C
