I call a bread roll a bap I go to Derby a lot and they call it a cob the bits from the chippy we call batter bits some call them scraps what about you

A cob to me is a big round loaf, great for hollowing out and filling with fish & chips

What you call a cob I would call a roll, a bap or a muffin and the other is scraps

Breadcake and scraps here in Sheffield also we have fishcake which is potato/fish/potato layered in that order and deep fried in batter, always causes many an argument here as some folk call that a rissole??????
