And definitely not selfishly enjoy amazing global holidays and live in a palace of luxury or owt like that. No. Definitely not. It’ll all be about being a fantastic global citizen!

Apart from playing golf, building a car and racing in some kind of novice championship, I'd set up a workshop.

It would be for people with depression so they could come in, learn a new skill from qualified teachers and be creative. They could make anything they like with the aim of giving them some self belief and boost that learning something new and making something from scratch can bring to an individual.

I better add that it would be free.

I'm really good at my job and I do get a lot of pleasure from it, so I'd probably still do the same thing but on fewer hours working for a couple of charities close to my heart.

The time it would free up I would probably spend learning or lazing around.

Of course most people would do more with money being no object like end world poverty and such but I have helped people and donated to charity when doing so has meant I struggled more than I already did so I chose something that would improve my quality of life for a change.

If money was no object, then it would be something very disruptive.

For example, a chain of solicitors across the land who provide legal counsel and representation for free for those in receipt of benefits. Cut's to Legal Aid over the years have denied many of the poorest citizens the right to justice.

Purchase tracts of land in numerous counties and create decent quality rental housing at the lowest rates possible for the disadvantaged. If money was truly no object, this would be free housing. The knock on effect would bring rental prices down from private landlords for the middle market at least.

Basically anything that can exert downwards pressure on monopolies or sectors where costs have spiralled beyond the means of the most disadvantaged folks.

I love space and astronomy, but have no time for vanity projects ala Elon Musk / Jeff Bezos / et al.

I'd fund them of course, as getting humanity off this rock is critical for long-term survival, but not for my own self-aggrandisement.
