Personally I’d track the progress using the link provided, rather than rely the generic non-specific text they send everyone but hey, I’m just a little crazy like that!

Shortly is no more than half an hour to me....

If the engineer is on the way at 8.10 and isn't here by 9.00 which is is now...... he could have driven from Manchester by now .. SO HE ISN'T NEARLY HERE .......

This is from my experience of these texts and tracking systems. I live in a relatively remote area though

If he's not there by half past I'd be ringing up/ringing him.

Not because I'm impatient but I'll sit on my arse for 20 minutes and after that I've got stuff to do.

If he's on the way he'll know an ETA from his sat nav so it's not impossible for him to tell you.

I never even mentioned my oven. I wanted new central heating. He can move my existing apparently, but not install new..... don't ask ..... don't even ask .....

Me: "plastic"

2 dudes turn up. "Ooooo, we can't touch that it's plastic, we only do wooden"

Cheers mateys, I lost a days pay for that and now have to lose another when the plastic specialist extraordinaire can find time

For sure the lock frame is metal so it doesn’t matter about the surrounding material ?? Snobbish attitude
