Pretentious.

I can’t dip into the juice with out them spilling out… they are getting tipped on to the plate so it’s just more washing up.

Essential for fussy kids, not good for me, as I like beans, scrambled egg and brown sauce all together- yum!

Them out when it comes, I think it just keeps the beans hotter as I bet the blast them in the microwave quickly as they put your plate out

I prefer it on a different pot so if I fancy it then I can dip my bread in it, I usually don’t eat the beans so… I prefer them kinda separate and it looks better on the plate ha

In a cafe I think it it is quite curious and practical. Means you can place them where you like.

Not posh as it means they’ve been microwaves rather than an unique individual tin being heated up especially for ‘moi’ in a tiny little saucepan.

Somewhere In The Ether…

There was a geezer on one episode of, 4 In A Bed who marked down the overall score based purely upon the fact that he didn’t like having his beans served in a bowl(!)

Mind you, the other contestants got their own back and deliberately marked him down on the subsequent visits, stating that they preferred the beans loose

Beans in a pot is just wrong. Needs to be on top of your fried bread, then egg on top of the beans, then brown sauce on top of that so, when you cut your egg the runny yolk goes through and you have a fork full of eggy, beany, sauce mix and the cruchy feel of the fried bread!

And I wonder why I'm overweight!

See I have the sound disliking for soggy hash browns. This is easily solved however with strategically placed bacon and sausages.

I've been told to tell you that sausages can be used as a break water between the eggs and the rest. I've probably said that wrong, but he's welcome to bite me.

However, tomato sauce for it's lycopene content!

There and to the left a bit

Neither pretentious nor posh just a way to serve them that caters to those that don't like the bean juice mixing with other things and those that do (who can just upturn the pot of beans onto the plate)...win/win I'd say

Dunno about pretentious or posh, plain f#@king annoying is what I would call it - and that goes for all meals served using multiple bits of crockery (except soup - I don't want that on the same plate as the toast)
