I’m largely very happy with my lot in life.

My nan’s spare room.

I’m not showing off and I feel deeply for people who are not in a happy place.

I just thought I’d put something out there to say be thankful for what you have and for those who are struggling, I hope you find peace soon.

That would make it happier, that’s true.

Contentment in life is bliss, I work hard, have a few hobbies and good friends.

I am in the best place I have ever been.

I feel very sorry for people who are not because I have been there and it was a long slog out of it. But I got out of it and I hope others can find the strength and support as well.

I think I am, I have a plan and I want to get to that place. And It’s not unattainable. I just need to focus and go do it.

I'm really pleased to read this Fiddles.

I'm getting better and in a much healthier place than I was a year ago. Still a long way to go before I am fighting fit but I can see the improvements. My family are well and I am loved. I wouldn't ask for anything more.

Hoping the future is bright for everyone.

I have one of those, there's an awful lot of work involved and I'm rather tired at the moment

I’ve been up and down over the years both personally and financially. Learnt from the ups & downs over the years and right now I’m in the best place I’ve ever been on all counts. But always looking upwards still

Really glad to hear that OP, it's something everyone can aspire to.

Personally, I would say I'm more grateful than happy with my lot in life at the moment as there's always things I feel I should improve on

up the road

I have a few limitations because of health which forced massive changes in my life over the last couple of years, i am not where i used to be in life but i make the best of where i am now and although i could always say i want more i can say i have most of what i need in life so its not to bad on reflection.

Me too OP, and I like to think I’m resilient but I never lose sight that things can and often do change very quickly for any of us, health, loss of job, friends family etc.

I lost my love to cancer after caring for her for almost 7 years, we'd been together 27 years. I miss her immensely, but I draw comfort from the fact that she's no longer suffering. I also had to retire due to the trauma of her illness and death.

I went out and bought a campervan and now I'm living my life like there's no tomorrow, life is too short.

Despite my loss I'm content.

You only get one life, live it.

Glad to hear it, I've had possibly one of the worst years of my life this year but I'm actually content for the first time in a long time in myself.

I've learnt to take and seek happiness in the smaller things recently

It starts with food and water but I think happiness can sit between relationships and self actualisation.

I concur, defo a self actualisation, thing is the times we reach there usually means a new beginning, starting again further down. As it should. We change as such our goals wants needs change
