I use both at work but prefer Mac, easy, stylish and never asks for updates every time I'm shutting down... So have mac at home too

fortunate enough to use diffrent operating systems on 2 laptops and a pc. Find each honestly has issues but nothing too severe. Never had the chance to use a mac but have heard its excelant for designing ??.

Guess it all depends on what you use it for. So, gonna have to say windows (xp )

Owned both, unfortunately the macs stylishness lets it down... my kids steal them cos they like the look of them!

ive got both ...love my mac for the design work I do ,use the windows pc for my other world with numbers in it !!! but th e MAC so uncompatible with stuff unles u buy the expensive apple add ons and i cant get a compatible web cam at all????...does any one know of one ??

I've never used a mac, cos I was told only muppets use macs, I don't believe it mind but don't want to take the risk, you know how it is.

Im no muppet !!!!!macs are a delight to use i have to say .. an they dont seem to succumb to virusses too much either which is a bonus ....if only i could get a web cam to work on it tho !!

I've always used windows but apparentyly mac is meant to be quite good.

Horses for courses I suppose, but I'll stick to what I know - Windoze .. - Oh and I get it for free, along with Office so at least Bill 'Greedy' Gates isn't profiting from me

if u are in the design business it just has to be a mac for ease of use and compatability with all the software .And the apple shortcuts are fantastic once u have memorised them.

there wont be many graphic designers using a normal pc . I certainly wouldnt use anything else for my design company .

but for normal everyday use .. my windows lappy is fine and i can show of on it !!

And at 400 quid cheaper imagine the software package you could purchase that would make it easily as good as the Mac

The Mac like the Iphone is simply a status symbol and Apple must be laughing all the way to the bank with each one they sell

honestly no contest for graphic design and i bough t mine second hand on ebay ..its no status symbol helps me earn a living !! but each to their own... i love my mac !

im just glad i didnt have to do it without any kind of computer!!!! i would nevr have the time to get onto fab !!
