It’s the only reason to friends request someone isn’t it? Perve the goodies in the semi-private pics section? This isn’t Facebook or Twitter ...

(p.s. I don’t have any Friends Only pics and never get friends requests so I can’t really answer your original question properly, sorry!)

I find the friends list is an easier way of keeping in touch with people.

I actually only have two friends both of who'm have my phone number anyway!

I still get them even when I hide my friends only photos. I don't really accept many at all to be honest - it's kind of obvious why they've sent them and if all I'm going to get is a blurry shot of an inanimate object, I'll accept it when they are offline and then delete them.

Removed our friends only pictures a few weeks back, and the number of unsolicited friend requests we received plummeted. So much so that we could happily remove the line from our profile which asked people not to send them.

Sadly most request I get are so people can perv - so I restrict to those who I am feeling genuinely want to meet up - social or otherwise

I cut down but I don't think it had an impact. I rarely look up friends request as don't like unsolicited ones so if there isn't one I was told of or expect, I would most likely delete them all.

Only just saw this thread - it makes me cross when people I have never spoken before want to see my hidden pictures. In fact I have blocked people after they kept asking repeatedly. I think there is an element of "make an effort to get to know me and then I might let you see them". It is for me anyway

Seriously? For me it is more about my privacy and not allowing every Tom, Dick and Harry to use my pictures for whatever clandestine purposes
